MISSION STATEMENT

AcuTech Massage Therapy Clinic & School P.L.L.C. is committed to providing excellence in massage therapy education. We seek to instill in our students a desire to individualize therapy to their clients and offer them techniques that go beyond the basics. Our experienced instructors and staff are dedicated to the success of our students as professional massage therapists.

DESCRIPTION OF THE FACILITY

AcuTech Massage Therapy Clinic & School P.L.L.C. is conveniently located at 6009 Richmond Avenue, just west of the Fountainview intersection. Easily accessible to public transportation with ample parking space located all around the building. The facility is found in suite #230 on the second floor, with a view of the skylight over the atrium inside the fashionable triangular shaped office building. The administrative offices, lecture classrooms, practice classroom, private intern massage rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are comfortably situated on 4500 sq. feet of spacious settings. Our future plans of expanding, as space becomes available, will allow for more students and flexible class schedules. Currently, we shall accept as many qualified students as our facility will accommodate. The school is equipped with twelve massage tables, and with lecture tables and chairs, a TV/VCR in each classroom, life-size articulated human skeletons and various charts and books.

DIRECTOR/PRESIDENT : Katie Spangler RMT

Registered Massage Therapist, Massage Therapy Instructor, and registered CEU provider. Founder and 100% owner of the AcuTech Massage Therapy Clinic & School PLLC. In charge of operations as Director in both Acu-Flex Massage Clinic and AcuTech Massage Therapy Clinic & School. Responsibilities include management of the massage school program, and administration of the school. Also responsible for the development of the company's growth as well as assisting in each student's growth to become a registered massage therapist. Business and professional experience and knowledge acquired working as an accountant and alongside her father, who was a Shiatsu practitioner in Japan. Katie combines techniques of Swedish Massage and Japanese Shiatsu therapy (Acupressure) in the operation of her massage therapy clinic, which she has successfully operated since 1994.
