AcuTech
Massage Therapy Clinic & School P.L.L.C. is registered with the
Texas Dept. of Health. Our school provides 300 hours of massage
therapy training programs to teach a comprehensive understanding
of the structure and function of the human body for students to
meet the necessary requirements for the Texas Registration.
DESCRIPTION
OF THE FACILITY
AcuTech
Massage Therapy Clinic & School P.L.L.C. is conveniently located
at 6009 Richmond Avenue, at the Fountainview intersection. Easily
accessible to public transportation with ample parking space located
all around the building. The facility is found in suite #230 on
the second floor, with a view of the skylight over the atrium
inside the fashionable triangular shaped office building. The
administrative offices, lecture classrooms, practice classroom,
private intern massage rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are comfortably
situated on 4500 sq. feet of spacious settings. Our future plans
of expanding, as space becomes available, will allow for more
students and flexible class schedules. Currently, we shall accept
as many qualified students as our facility will accommodate.
MASSAGE
THERAPY REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
This
program consists of the 300 hours required by the Texas Department
of Health to become registered as a massage therapist with the
state. Upon successful completion of the training program, the
student will be ready for the massage therapy state examination.
GRADUATION
REQUIREMENTS
The
State of Texas requires 300 total hours to be registered as a
massage therapist: 250 educational class hours and 50 hours of
internship. Certificates of completion are awarded upon completion
of 300 hours of the training program.
